- easter fun! we spent Saturday night at grandma champlins! after dinner we had a easter hunt in the dark! BRING YOUR FLASHLIGHTS haha ... it was so fun! we've done it now for years and it's always a good time. it also makes it fun for the older people too since it's dark for EVERYONE! cooper thought every egg was an achievement and celebrated WAY too long with each find ... while the other eggs around him were getting snatched up left and right haha! but hey he thought it was amazing!

only 2 casualties on this day .... 1st cooper fell on the swing set slide hitting his eye on the metal ladder... which he now has a shiner to show for it :(

on easter morning the kids woke up to a easter tradition i've had in my family. Kite string all over the house, their easter baskets are hidden, and the only way to make your way through the maze of string is to wind it up. Using the roll with your name... you wind up your string weaving and maneuvering through all the strings until you find your basket! :) this is the first year we've done it since the kids are older and they loved it! :)
