Pirate Carnival

Champlin Family Carnival : We received our invitations for my parents' Family Carnival that we have every year! This years theme was Pirates of the Caribbean, which couldn't have been SWEETER! Our invitations were a perfect example of the days to come. Messages in a bottle with our pirate gear. Complete with map, eye patch, skull ring, and sand of course. It was so cute i was so excited to go ! And so were the kids that's all they talked about for a week. Then on the 15th and 16th of Aug. was the pirate carnival! Of course it was decorated to the hilt and we had oodles of fun. Treasure hunt, leather pouches for our gold coins, charm necklace, pirate treasure boxes with keys on our necklaces, rings, bracelets, hat's, tattoo's, bandanna's and that's just the wearable gear. Then there was homemade ice cream, movies, popcorn stand, and on and on. Then the next day was the carnival which means oodles of carnival games, so much fun, Lot's of food, auction, and prizes! we had a blast! and thanks mom for going to all that work to give us such a great time! your the best!
